It has been a long close season for Scottish football, but the SPL season commences tomorrow Saturday 4 August 2012. Ross County host Motherwell. It will be too close a contest to call.
The summer has been used by this writer to co-launch a new SFL website Tell Him He’s Pelé. RossCountyTactics itself was introduced as an attempt to offer in-depth coverage to football in the Scottish Football League. Tell Him He’s Pelé is a continuation of that idea, with collaboration from some of the best writers among the SFL community.
It will be difficult to contribute to both websites in as much detail as we would like to, but it would be heart-breaking to drop RCT altogether. A compromise will be that this site will only cover Ross County’s home matches (unless, of course, Ross County make it to the semi-finals or finals of the major domestic competitions).
